At the age of 27, Yvan Buravan peacefully passed away from pancreatic cancer on August 17th, 2022. During his sickness, Buravan courageously fought and persevered through it all until the very end. A commemoration event service was held on August 23, 2022, at Camp Kigali where thousands of fans gathered to pay their respect. on August 24th, 2022, he was laid to rest.

Garagaza was the first musical collaboration of Buravan and His Father, the song is about love in general mostly about showing love instead of talking about it to whoever you love! “Life is about love! Give me love, Give me life“
